A strong candidate should be able to:
• Build and author Helm charts from scratch (not just install existing ones).
• Configure and customize charts (values, templating) to deploy applications reliably.
• Stand up and configure Kubernetes clusters, both on-premises and in the cloud.
• Ideally, deploy via Amazon EKS (AWS’s managed Kubernetes service).
The DevSecOps Engineer supports the development, hardening, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of the cloud- and web-enabled wargaming software. Day to day, this person builds and maintains the automated “pipelines” that ship code, packages applications into containers, deploys them to Kubernetes clusters (both on-premises and in the cloud), manages releases into the customer’s environments, writes Terraform code to stand up secure cloud infrastructure, and supports the cybersecurity work needed to achieve and maintain the ATO. They sit on a small, collaborative team of software, cloud, and security engineers.
Salary is 180K and up. Onsite 3 days a week in Raleigh NC
